Martha Owuor

Maureen Amakabane is a Business Major – International Business Administration in Marketing and has professional accreditation in Entrepreneurship Leadership and Organizational Development.

She started off her career in the private sector and later transitioned into private consulting focusing on women and youth-led startups. Her soft skills include Digital Literacy & Training, Effective Communication, and Human-Centred Design Thinking. She is a Storyteller instructor with a global organization. She has been part of pan African and global fellowships which include: The Tony Elumelu Foundation Fellowship, Future Females Business School and the Cherie Blair Foundation for Women

Martha Owuor is a principal in the Tourism Industry with a 20yrs experience span in the Travel Agency, Tour Operations & Hotel Management sectors. Her soft skills include Customer Relations & Care, Communications, Quality Control and strong Administrative Skills.

She retired in 2007 to pursue her personal call of destiny. Having lived in this community since 2001, Martha together with other pioneers founded the Nyayo Embakasi Residents Association, for the welfare benefit of its over 20,000 population. From its inception in 2011, she embarked on putting foundational governance structures and systems in place as well as within various Courts and Maisonette Zones, upon which the Association is anchored.

Njoki Mwangi is a Marriage and Family Therapist holding a 1st Degree – Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) a Diploma in Law (LSK – Law Society of Kenya), a Higher Diploma in Counselling Psychology, Loss & Grief Therapy, Expressive Therapy, Play Therapy and a Masters of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy (MMFT).

Her Soft skills include Child & Adolescent Counselling, Trainer of Trainers – Counselors, Legal Consultancy, Community Leader, Advocate for mental wellbeing.
